What am I doing wrong when I put on eye shadow?

How do you get your eyeshadow to look more visible? I state quads playing with different shades of purple and brown tones. When I start, who can barely see. I use a brush for blending shades together. Maybe I'm brushing too broad when I do that? I want the colors to appear darker, but I am applying every 4 tones how they are designated: the fold, double, front, outside corner. What I'm doing wrong? If you make a difference, I tried to do so much with the first foundation, and out. Thank you!

Try a manual for the eyes before putting ur eye shadow and notice a big difference. I did it when I Urban Decay Primer Potion is a bit expensive but very good. It will not wrinkle and the color of your eye shadow are vibrant and past. You can use the other as other brands. I use one of the reasons I have oily skin ... so u can try a cheaper than the other, said L'Oreal, or ULTA ...
